GEFIT MEXICO ENGINEERING
Gefit S.p.A. is proud to announce the entry into operation of the newly established – as well as the seventh production unit of the Group – GEFIT Mexico Engineering, located in Monterrey – an industrial district which has experienced considerable development in recent years, becoming the main economic center of Mexico.
GEFIT, the world’s leading company in the industrial automation sector for 55 years, in the construction of molds for thermoplastics and high-speed assembly machines, will strengthen the Group’s position at an international level with its presence in Mexico.
The company’s choice to invest in Mexico arises from the strategic importance that this geographical area has for both company divisions.
The Group’s internationalization path continues in the wake of growth and development on a global level: the objective thus achieved is to provide a point of reference to our Customers in this important geographical area of great industrial expansion, in line with the mission company to position itself as a GLOBAL PARTNER – rather than a supplier – of the primary customers served.
The new Company will not only be a commercial, service and after-sales headquarters, but will become a production unit capable of supporting the Italian parent company in the production of assembly lines and machines, adding to the factories in Hungary, USA, India and China (and obviously, Italy) and to the sales and service offices in Moscow and Shanghai.
Each project, developed following the needs of the Customers, represents for Gefit a new challenge and an opportunity to acquire skills and develop collaborations: we expect that new partnerships will be born thanks to the contacts that Gefit will have in this Region.
