The twelfth edition of the National “Olimpia di Automazione” Award once again saw teachers and students from schools and technical institutes (ITIS, IPSIA, high schools, ITS) competing in the national territory.

The Competition, promoted every year by Siemens Automation Cooperates with Education and recognized by the MIUR in the National Program for the Valorization of Excellence, offers the world of schools the opportunity to compete with that of Automation and Industry 4.0.

Twenty-five projects reached the final, which involve the integration of various technologies, developed by schools in collaboration with local companies: from the idea to the research of means and materials up to implementation.

For the Senior Category, ITIS A. Volta of Alessandria won second place on the podium with the Jigsawlver project, in a now consolidated winning synergy with Gefit SpA and the support of other important companies in the Alessandria area.

ITIS Volta also won the Communication Award for having been able to present their idea in the best and most original way and the “Learning Agility” teacher award.
